We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of our longest serving members and dear friend, Clive Turgoose.
Clive was a much loved and highly respected member of the Players and was our Chairman too for a number of years, keeping us all on the straight and narrow. As well as being an amazing actor who could transform any part he was given, Clive also directed and produced many of our plays over the years. Most recently, you may recall he played Frank Pickle in The Vicar of Dibley, which was his last performance before he became ill.
Clive is now reunited with his wife, Ann, who was also a much loved member of our group.
His funeral will be held at All Saints Church, Market Weighton on Thursday 24th January at 2.00 p.m.
Our thoughts are with Sally, Simon and all the family at this sad time.
Rest in peace Clive, love from all at MWCP
